Indigo (2014)
Indigo began in darkness as I struggled to explore intense feelings in paint. The color Indigo expresses the Blues perfectly. As I intuitively move inwards, my Sky paintings represent experimentation, change, and transition. They reflect internal and external expansion. Soul moves freely in the dark, and in any situation. The paradox of the Universe is that we cannot survive there. We would die in a second. And yet, we look to the heavens when we think of God.
